The halocline lies at about 18 m, and the fresh water above it is dark because tannins from a large swamp have stained the rock. The A tunnel leads to the Battleship Room and on to Naharon, a popular guided traverse. The B tunnel connects to the E and F tunnels, which Cave Ha rates among the best dives here. The Dead Zone runs downstream towards the Cenote of the Sun, and dives in the saltwater zone approach 80 ft and usually involve decompression.
