Seth Dive describes a surface pool with wooden stairs and a cavern route with stalactites, small columns and flowstone at around 10 to 12 m. The halocline appears as a shimmer at about 6 to 8 m. The SSI dive guide calls it a freshwater cenote well suited to practising Open Water skills, with a maximum depth of 9 m, small fish, turtles and aquatic plants. It belongs to the Ponderosa cave system and can be reached by cave divers from the X'tabay cave in the Chikin Ha park.
