Casa Cenote
Also known as: Cenote Manati · Cenote Manatee
Divers swim between mangrove roots where hundreds of small fish such as mollies, guppies and platys gather. Where the channel meets the sea a halocline forms, and sea visitors such as barracuda, snapper, tarpon, blue crabs and moray eels appear. Further back a tunnel of rocks and roots leads through the grotto area before returning to open water. A Morelet's crocodile called Panchito lives in the mangroves, while manatees, which gave the cenote its old name, are now rarely seen. The average depth is about 4 m and dives last around an hour.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
