Allmannshausen Wintertauchplatz

The entry is right at the fork where the paved road from Allmannshausen reaches the shore, and the gravel and sand bottom drops away quickly before flattening out at about 22 m. About five minutes to the south a small wall falls away in terraces, and in autumn char gather there. An old hospital bed lies at around 19 m near this wall and a large pike has been seen at the site. To the north there is little beyond mud, tyres and wooden stakes, and the muddy bottom calls for good buoyancy. The access road needs a permit, so divers usually unload at the fork and park at the edge of the village.
