Mike's Beach Resort has a dock, beach access and air fills, and the reef off the property is called Mike's Reef. Divers find old appliances, small sunken boats and a tire reef on a gentle sandy slope, mostly in 30 to 50 ft with some items deeper. The resort's own description, quoted by YSS Dive, mentions two stepped reefs to the south with rich life at about 20 ft and 40 to 50 ft and cloud sponges near 100 ft. Octopus, wolf eels, lingcod, rockfish and plumose anemones are common. Divers also start the long swim to Flagpole Point from here, and visitors who are not staying pay a day fee.
