Elephant Wall
Elephant Wall lies just south of Flagpole Point and falls in sheer drops and rolling ledges to more than 70 ft, with large crevices along its face. Wolf eels and nudibranchs are commonly seen, and rockfish, giant Pacific octopus, shrimp and jellies are regularly reported. A mooring buoy is used by charters, and the site depends on a suitable weather window. X-Ray Mag lists it among the sites a Hood Canal charter operator dives on request.
