Batu Belanda
Également connu sous le nom de : Dutch Rock
Local tradition holds that the first Dutch ships landed at this rock, which gave the site its name. A rock jutting out from the coast marks the entry, and from there the wall leads down to about 24 m. The wall is less colourful than others in Banda, but it is home to the Lembeh sea dragon, a pipefish relative with a seahorse-like head that clings to black crinoids. Barrel sponges, whip corals with their shrimps, scorpionfish and orang-utan crabs line the wall, and Napoleon wrasse and eagle rays often pass by. A large cave or cavern in the shallower section, around 10 to 13 m, lets in shafts of light and shelters soldierfish and bigeyes.
