Edge of the World
Edge of the World is on the ocean-facing back side of Molokini, in an area that is usually in the island's shadow. At about 50 feet a shelf juts out to form an overhang, below which the wall plunges to almost 250 feet, the deepest drop-off along the back side according to Ed Robinson's Diving Adventures and Activity Authority. The near-constant shade gives the site an eerie atmosphere and draws unusual creatures. Larger fish, sharks and rays are often seen in the blue below. Good buoyancy control and a strong dive light are recommended.
