Tuna Alley

Tuna Alley sits on the wall at the western edge of the Great Bahama Bank off North Cat Cay. The reef starts at about 14 m and slopes down towards 30 m, with a canyon, overhangs and swim-throughs along the way. Its name recalls the giant bluefin tuna that travel north past the reef in spring. Turtles and reef sharks are common, and larger pelagics from the Gulf Stream can turn up at any time.
