Grotta Azzurra
The cave is best known as a stop on boat tours around the island because of its light blue reflections. Profondo Blu describes a dive route with a large opening in the cliff at about 20 m that leads into a cave-like space with a white sandy floor, where a couple of large groupers live. Along the wall, ravines shelter slipper lobsters and nudibranchs, and white bream, damselfish and salema school nearby, with a chance of pelagic fish in the blue. The dive ends with a slow ascent into the semi-submerged grotto, surfacing among turquoise reflections. The cave itself is shallow, about 5 m, and can also be visited by snorkellers.
