Grotta dei Gamberi
The dive descends the slope of Punta Galera to a wide, low opening at around 40 m that leads into a round chamber more than 30 m across. When a torch lights the rock, the walls seem to move because of the dense carpets of Plesionika narval shrimps. Lobsters, conger eels, forkbeards hunting the shrimps, cowries and nudibranchs live inside, and the view back to the blue entrance is a favourite moment. A narrower passage climbs gently to an exit at about 24 to 27 m, from where the ascent continues along the reef. Because of its depth and darkness it is reserved for experienced divers with deep and cave training.
