Secca di Mortigliano
Also known as: Mortigliano's Pinnacle
Two large spires make up the shoal, which is surrounded by seagrass at roughly 18 to 20 m. Octopus, morays, big scorpionfish and groupers live among its boulders, and eagle rays can be seen over the meadow in summer. Experienced divers first swim out to three large boulders at about 25, 30 and 38 m with forkbeards, nudibranchs and lobsters. Thanks to the channel current, barracuda, dentex, tuna and occasionally ocean sunfish pass by. The site is marked by buoys dedicated to diving.
