Secca del Semaforo

Also known as: Semaforo sand bank · Semaforo Pinnacle

The dive starts with a descent in open water to the top. Red gorgonian fans cover the shoal and catsharks lay their eggs on them. Lobsters and spiny spider crabs live in the rock, together with big bottom fish, and the yellow sponges and bryozoans on the top are striking. In very clear water it is a favourite of photographers. Depth and current make it a site for experienced divers.
