Buoy SP2
Also known as: Buoy SP 2
The pinnacles can be dived along many routes, with or against the current, so each visit is different. A wall drops from about 15 m to around 35 m at the edge of the Posidonia meadow. Divers swim among big, confident groupers and brown meagre while dentex, barracuda and amberjacks cruise past. A cave at about 14 m and a split dome with a cathedral-like cavern add variety. Pianosa's marine park has been open to controlled diving only since 2013.
