Coral Gardens

The dive starts directly beneath the cliff of Gros Piton, and the view above the water is as striking as the reef below. In the shallows, dense sea plume forests and finger corals shelter juvenile fish. The slope continues downward for hundreds of feet, so divers are warned to watch their depth gauges. In the deeper section the unusual sargassum triggerfish can be found, and schools of barracuda sometimes take up residence.
