Grotta dei Portici
Also known as: Il Porticato · Grotta del Porticato · Grotta di Punta Salinetto · Grotto of the Portico
The site takes its name from the series of arches that face the open sea like a portico. Divers can stay outside and pass between the arches, or swim inside along a chain of chambers lit through the openings. Walls and vaults are carpeted with yellow cluster anemones and solitary corals, and a bed of shells mixed with fragments of red coral covers part of the floor. A narrower tunnel of about 30 m leads to a small chamber where European lobsters, cleaner shrimps and a big conger eel live. Groupers wait outside, but they are shy.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
