The cavern line follows wide, shallow passages past massive columns, huge tree roots and fish. In places the water does not reach the ceiling, so divers can surface and look at stalactites that are still growing. Deep Dive Mexico runs two dives: one along the main passage with large halls, one into smaller side passages with delicate formations. Cave divers have long regarded it as one of the most beautifully decorated underwater caves, and it once held the record as the longest underwater cave system.
