Triton Cove State Park

Also known as: Triton Cove

Triton Cove State Park has a boat launch and a rocky outcrop from which divers enter the water. There is no single target structure; instead divers explore ledges and bedrock outcrops that lead down to about 70 ft. Nudibranchs, giant Pacific octopus, wolf eels and sea stars are common, and Sea Otter's review highlights squat lobsters. Boat traffic from the launch and the breakwater need attention, and it is safest to ascend near shore. Explore Hood Canal describes it as quieter than its neighbours.
