Seacrest Cove 2
Also known as: Alki Cove 2 · Cove 2 · Seacrest Park Cove 2
Seacrest Cove 2 lies at Seacrest Park in West Seattle, minutes from downtown, and PNW Diving calls it the most popular dive site in Seattle. The scattered pilings and steel debris are leftovers of the former Seacrest Marina and are now thickly covered in white plumose anemones. Rope lines lead between landmarks such as a boulder pile with gunnels, the small Honey Bear wreck and, for experienced divers, a set of I-beams in deeper water where squat lobsters hide. The cove and its neighbours are a WDFW octopus preserve, and giant Pacific octopus dens are scattered across the site. Shelter from current and most winds makes it popular for courses and night dives, but divers must stay out of the marked boat lane.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
