China Wall
Also known as: Blakely Rock Wall
China Wall is made of several rock faces up to about 30 ft tall that together form a wall on a sloping cobble bottom. The wall starts at around 60 to 70 ft depending on the tide, and its deep crevices are known for resident giant Pacific octopus; Emerald Diving also mentions the chance of a red brotula. Rockfish, lingcod and several sculpin species are common, and the shallow ledges and reefs around Blakely Rock are good for small critters during the ascent. PNW Diving calls it the least current-intensive site in the area, often usable as a second dive during a mild flood.
