Big Coral Stone Slope

Also known as: 大咾咕 (Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan)) · 大咕咾 (Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan))

Big Coral Stone Slope is a rock that breaks the surface of Nanwan and is popular with anglers above water. Underwater it forms a slope running north to south, so divers start at the shallow end near the drop point and gently work deeper along the reef. Both stony and soft corals grow here, and the dive is often an easy drift alongside reef fish. Damselfish, butterflyfish, sea squirts, octopus and Clark's anemonefish are among the life listed by dive guides. A past manta ray sighting still brings divers back hoping for another.
