Nanwan Triangle
Also known as: South Bay Triangle · South Bay Triangle Town · Sanjiao Town · Triangle Point · 三角町 (Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan)) · 南灣三角町 (Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan))
Nanwan Triangle lies in the waters between Nanwan and Tanzi harbour and takes its name from three reefs, the middle one said to be shaped like Taiwan. The dive follows a guide line west as the bottom deepens gradually over broad coral platforms on white sand. Large fields of Acropora and other stony corals attract many reef fish, including schools of four-line snappers. A sand channel below the entry point separates reef platforms with small fish, corals and big sea fans, and stingrays bury themselves in the sand. Turtles are a frequent sight, and dive centres report frogfish and occasional manta rays.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
