Xiao Lao Gu
Also known as: Little Coral Stone Chasm · 小咾咕 (Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan)) · 小咾咕斷層 (Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan))
Xiao Lao Gu is a big fault in the reef that lies back to back with Twin Peaks Blue Hole, with a broad gentle slope on the other side. Currents often pick up here, so guides use fixed lines during descents and ascents. The nutrient-rich water feeds huge sea fans and keeps the water clearer than at nearby sites. On good days divers see walls of fusiliers that draw larger hunting fish, and barracuda are among the species listed by dive guides. Larger fish, shrimps and crabs shelter under the rocks on the protected slope.
