Fish Feeding Area
Also known as: Houbihu Left Side · 餵魚區 (Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan)) · 後壁湖餵魚區 (Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan)) · 後壁湖左側餵魚區 (Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan))
The Fish Feeding Area is a large colony of warty Pocillopora coral standing in the sand, a formation that is uncommon in Kenting and shelters many fish. Divers enter from the shore south of the fishing harbour, cross shallow stony corals with fire coral, then follow a steeper reef slope to around 10 m. Since the protected area was set up in 2005, fish numbers have grown, with damselfish, four-line snappers, sweetlips and groupers that come close to divers. A few large giant trevally that swim alongside divers are the stars of the site. Taiwan Dive Center asks divers not to feed the fish despite the name.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
