Caribsea

The Caribsea was carrying manganese ore from Cuba to Norfolk when it was sunk. The wreck was wire-dragged but is still contiguous from bow to stern, with the boilers, engine, windlass and anchors as the main features, so it is easy to navigate even in poor visibility. Bait often covers the wreck and draws sand tiger sharks, amberjacks, cobia, stingrays and Spanish mackerel. Its moderate depth allows a longer dive than most offshore sites.
