Tamaulipas

Also known as: Far East Tanker

The ship broke in two near the bridge, and the halves settled close to each other but too far apart to swim between. The stern section holds two large boilers, a very large engine, the propeller, rudder and a stern anchor, while the bow lies upside down but intact. African pompano, amberjack, grouper and sand tiger sharks are typical, with eagle rays, dolphins and turtles seen occasionally. Its depth places it in the advanced to technical range.
