Atlas
The Atlas sits on its keel and is largely contiguous, with an intact bow and stern, boilers, engine, propeller, rudder and both bow anchors. Its silty bottom and frequently low visibility have given it a reputation for being a creepy dive. Gaps have opened between collapsing hull sections, so divers should keep track of their route. Sand tiger sharks, grouper, amberjacks, spadefish and shovelnose lobster are reported. Limited penetration is possible in the bow section.
