Punta Rasa Caves
Also known as: Cuevas de Punta Rasa · Cuevas Altas de Racó · Caves of Sant Guillem
The caves lie in the Es Racó Alt area between Cala Saona and Cap de Barbaria, about 15 minutes by boat from La Savina. The first cave opens close to the mooring and leads into a well-lit chamber with two large air bubbles; near the entrance the water glows an intense blue. The second cave lies a few metres to the north along the wall and also has an air pocket under a colourful dome. Neither cave branches into a maze, which makes them a gentle first cave experience, though a torch is still needed. Hundreds of shrimps live inside, brown meagre hide at the back, and small stingrays rest on the white sand outside.
