Paglugaban

Also known as: Paglugaban Island

Paglugaban sits on the outer edge of the Miniloc island group, about 45 minutes from El Nido. The dive starts in a shallow coral garden where turtles feed, then reaches the corner of the island with a labyrinth of huge boulders. These rocks are covered in soft corals and form many swim-throughs between them. Nudibranchs are abundant and change with the seasons, and frogfish, crocodile fish, octopus and cuttlefish hide in the rocks. One side faces the open sea, eagle rays are seen there regularly, and operators report rare manta and dugong sightings. Tabanka Divers turns the dive back when it meets current at the end of the labyrinth.
