Nat-Nat
Also known as: Nat-Nat Beach
Nat-Nat lies on the southern side of Cadlao Island, only a short boat ride from El Nido town, and serves as the bay's house reef. Shallow hard coral terraces are broken up by sandy patches and rubble that make navigation easy. Jawfish, locally called tabanka, live in the sand, and green turtles, stingrays, octopus and nudibranchs are regular sightings. At night seahorses, Spanish dancers, helmet gurnards and catsharks appear, which is why many centres use it for night dives. In recent years dugongs have been reported here more often. When the current picks up the dive becomes a drift.
