Motu Kao Kao
Motu Kao Kao is the sea stack beside the larger islets of Motu Nui and Motu Iti. Hundreds of coral heads grow on its rock, sheltering spiny lobsters and sea urchins, and butterflyfish with yellow or black backs are often seen around it. Like the other islets it lies away from the main island, so the water stays very clear for most of the year. The walls continue far below recreational depths, and the currents around the islets can change without warning.
