Windmill Beach
Entry and exit are over gently shelving beaches, and the route is easy to follow. Huge granite boulders and outcrops rise from flat sand to near or above the surface, and the north cove shelters many small fish among small boulders. A wide range of invertebrates and fish can be seen, including the striped sand slug, which is only known from the sand east of this beach. Most diving stays above about 8 to 10 m. Its calm water makes it a dependable site for beginners as well as experienced divers.
