Cement Plant Pier

Also known as: Cement Factory

This unusual site is the large loading pier of the island's cement plant in the far northwest of Barbados. It can be reached by boat or by shore divers and snorkellers. The pier structure draws a rich mix of small creatures, with lobsters, seahorses, frogfish, flying gurnards, arrow crabs and scorpionfish. Hightide rates it suitable from beginner to advanced.
