Tanjung Norett
Also known as: Tanjung Nore
Sand patches alternate with coral bommies in the shallows, and from about 8 to 10 m the reef falls away as a sheer wall to more than 100 m. The wall itself is described as pleasant rather than spectacular. What draws liveaboards is the hope of hammerhead sharks, which visit the Banda Sea from late September to early December, with October usually the best month. Large tuna, barracuda, eagle rays and giant groupers are also spotted at the point.
