Karang Sari

Also known as: Karangsari

Karang Sari lies on the east side of Nusa Penida, a little south of Batu Mulapan. A wide coral plateau gives way to a gently stepped slope, so divers can choose their depth and explore soft corals, sea fans and barrel sponges. Macro life such as frogfish, nudibranchs and mantis shrimp lives on the plateau. Reef sharks, turtles and occasionally eagle rays or Mola Mola appear along the slope, and Scuba Center Asia mentions thresher sharks for this coast. Bali Aqua often goes there when the west coast is too rough to dive.
