Coral Garden (Menjangan)
This Coral Garden lies on the north-east side of Menjangan Island, west of the jetty and close to Temple Point. A fringing reef in very shallow water leads to a shallow plateau and a gentle slope covered with hard corals, soft coral carpets and large sea fans. Easy Divers counts four different dive sites within this stretch. Currents are usually weak or absent, so it works well for beginners, relaxed dives and snorkelling. Turtles, batfish, triggerfish, angelfish and Moorish idols are common, and Blue Season Bali notes the island's largest gorgonian, home to pygmy seahorses, at around 27 m.
