Garden Eel Point
Also known as: Eel Garden · Garden Eels
The dive follows the wall south from the north-west tip, from its top at 5 to 8 m down to about 25 m, past diverse corals and reef fish in its cracks. Where the wall turns into white sand, a big gorgonian hosts longnose hawkfish. The sand slope between about 14 and 20 m is home to a huge colony of garden eels. Whitetip and blacktip reef sharks, dogtooth tuna, barracuda, turtles and Napoleon wrasse are seen here. A coral garden to the south with bigeye trevally, titan triggerfish, anemonefish and pygmy seahorses on the sea fans makes a good finish.
