Close Encounters
Two of the reef's three sides offer good diving, while the third is a large sandy slope. Schools of snappers, jacks, batfish, sweetlips, emperors and fusiliers are common. With luck divers find frogfish, crocodilefish, scorpionfish, octopus and many nudibranchs, and occasionally sharks, bumphead parrotfish and rays pass by. Currents are usually weak or absent except during bigger tides.
