Aquarium

Aquarium at Mnemba is made of long bands of hard coral separated by sand and is often described as one of the most scenic dives around the island. Schools of surgeonfish, Moorish idols, parrotfish and fusiliers hover above the reef, with groupers and giant trevally hunting among them. Divers looking closer find leaf fish, frogfish and nudibranchs, and green or hawksbill turtles visit. Safety stops are often made over a sand slope where thousands of garden eels rise.
