Grotta Totò
The cave opens in a small bay near the Pastizza rock and is followed along a permanent guideline. A dark main chamber holds two large submerged stalagmites, one of them more than 3 m tall. The sandy floor then slopes up to air pockets whose ceilings carry long stalactites and tree roots reaching down from the land above. Marine life is sparse in the darkness, but delicate orange shrimps are typical. Because it is a true cave without daylight, it is only offered to cave-certified divers.
