Santa Rita Wreck
Also known as: Relitto S. Rita
Launched in Palermo in 1908 as Monginevro, the ship sailed under several names, among them Veniero, Boheme and Panormus, before becoming the Santa Rita of a Genoa company. She was damaged during the Second World War and finally sank in March 1946 when she hit a mine that had not been cleared after the war. The explosion took away the bow, but the rest of the hull stands upright in sailing trim. The hull measures about 116 m by 16 m.
