Punta di Fetovaia
Also known as: Cape Fetovaia · Punta Fetovaia
From a seagrass bottom the route reaches the first rocks at about 15 to 20 m, and from there groups of boulders covered in red gorgonians fall away to great depth. Their dens hold groupers, lobsters, large scorpionfish, congers, morays and forkbeards. Schools of dentex and barracuda often hunt in the blue off the point. At about 45 m Infoelba describes the remains of a small barge once used for laying underwater cables. The tip is exposed to wind and current, which keeps the water clear.
