Torinla Pinnacle
Also known as: Torinla Pinnacle/Rocks
Torinla Pinnacle is a pile of granite boulders standing apart from the island of Koh Torinla. Its shallow parts carry plenty of soft coral and sea fans, while large rays rest on the sandy bottom further down. Brown marbled groupers live among the boulders and a family of bumphead parrotfish is often seen. Shovelnose rays and whiprays are regular sightings, and macro hunters can look for pygmy pipehorses and rabbit nudibranchs. Currents pick up around new and full moon, so dive centres treat it as an advanced site.
