Ao Phak Kat
Also known as: Ao Pakkad · Aow Pakard/Pakkad
Ao Phak Kat, the Cabbage Bay, owes its name to the cabbage coral that grows across the reef surrounding the bay on Koh Surin Tai. Large staghorn thickets shelter juvenile fish, including young batfish. Octopus, scorpionfish and stonefish hide on the reef, and rays rest on the sandy patches. Blacktip reef sharks pass through the shallows and turtles are a good chance. The bay is a popular choice for evening and night dives.
