Lettuce

Also known as: Lettuce Reef

Lettuce is one of the deeper reefs of the loosely connected 5 Mile group and takes its name from the lettuce coral that covers it. Kelbe Photography describes it as a small, perfectly patterned hard coral reef and notes that some fish, such as the tiger angelfish, are found nowhere else in Sodwana. Damselfish shelter in the coral folds. Its closeness to the canyon brings chances of Zambezi sharks, barracuda, spotted eagle rays and, in season, mantas.
