Koh Tachai Reef
Also known as: Tachai Reef
The reef follows the eastern side of the island and is almost completely covered with hard corals, mainly staghorn, pore and brain coral. It slopes gently from the shore to sand at around 20 to 25 metres. Blacktip reef sharks are almost always around, and leopard sharks, large stingrays and schools of bluefin trevally and barracuda are common. Lobsters rest under the corals. Similan Diving Safaris dives it as a relaxed drift dive.
