Breakfast Bend

A sandy slope with coral bommies and rocky outcrops runs along the eastern side of Koh Bangu. Large patches of staghorn coral alternate with colourful soft corals, and a whip coral garden lies at the northern end. Leopard sharks often rest on the sand, sometimes two or three on one dive, together with Kuhl's stingrays and colonies of garden eels. The shallow reef is also used by snorkellers, and the site works well as a night dive.
