Urmstone Grange

Also known as: Urmston Grange

The Urmstone Grange was scuttled in Burra Sound in September 1914 to block the channel. Archaeological surveys found the outline of the ship and identified it by its three big boilers. The remains are broken and lie roughly on the keel in shallow water. MV Huskyan lists it among the dispersed blockships that divers may pass on a drift through Burra Sound.
