FC Pontoon

Also known as: AC-6

This unpowered structure, recorded as AC-6, may be part of the floating crane used by the salvors Cox and Danks between the wars rather than a true blockship. Its square midsection stands on lattice legs and stays visible at all states of the tide, topped with kelp. Inside sits a boiler with valves still attached, and light streams through the open steelwork. Scattered ribs, plates, a winch and bitts lie around it on sand and rock, and plenty of fish gather around the structure.
