Melissa's Garden

Also known as: Melissa Garden · Bird Rocks

Named after the daughter of Papua Diving's founder, Melissa's Garden is a group of small islets near Piaynemo in the Fam Islands. A plateau of glorious hard and soft coral sits between pinnacles, and the reef slopes down to sand. Tasselled wobbegongs curl up in cabbage corals or under ledges, and giant clams lie on the reef flat. Schools of fusiliers, angelfish of many species and grey reef sharks add to the dive, and mantas pass at times.
